special avalanche<\/span><\/h1>\nBahman Mohassas was born on March 9, 1310 in Rasht. At the age of 14, he started working in the workshop and exhibition of Mohammad Habib Mohammadi Naqsh Gilani, who had studied art at the Moscow Art Academy, and during his stay in Tehran, Mohassas studied at Tehran University of Art for a few months.<\/span>\nMohassas traveled to Europe in 1333 and settled in Italy and studied art with Ferruccio Frazzi at the Rome Art Academy. The result of this period of Mohassas’s life was several group and solo exhibitions inside and outside of Sao Paulo and Paris. He was introduced to his works with an exhibition titled “Fi Phi Screams” in the 40s and since then he was known as one of the famous Iranian painters.<\/span>\nIn 1342, Bahman Mohassas returned to Iran in order to start a new movement in the art of his country and participated in numerous exhibitions and conferences.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tValuable works of this painter and sculptor are mostly kept in Italy, America and Iran.\r\n\r\nAfter returning to Tehran, Mohassas continued his work in the painting workshop and joined the artistic-literary association Khoros Jangi.\r\n\r\nThis association, which was founded by the efforts of Ziapour, was intended to introduce new art and confront the cumbersome traditions in art and poetry.\r\n\r\nPeople like Sohrab Sepehri, Nima Yoshij, Houshang Irani and Gholamhossein Gharib were among the other artists who collaborated with this association.\r\n\r\nTranslation of the works of writers such as Luigi Pirandello, Eugene UNESCO and Jean Genet, as well as theater directing, are other specific artistic activities, along with painting and sculpture.\r\n\r\nHe was among the first Iranian painters and artists who learned painting in the western way and mixed it with an eastern perspective.\r\n\r\nMahsas was one of the pioneer artists of Iran’s visual arts. He was one of the top 10 painters of Iran, he had a cultural personality and was an expert in painting, sculpture, theater, translation and poetry.\r\n\r\nIn his works, “being headless” or physical conflicts and problems and physical afflictions are seen, and his works include people who have “small heads and fat bodies” and conflicts of the human body are very prominent in his works. In addition, the mythological works and the influences of Mediterranean art in a period of his works are quite evident.\r\n\r\nMuhass passed away in Rome on August 6, 2009 at the age of 79 due to complications from lung disease.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
