{"id":1158,"date":"2020-12-22T21:42:19","date_gmt":"2020-12-22T18:12:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/honargardi.com\/en\/2020\/12\/22\/eleven-weeks-with-pixel-language\/"},"modified":"2020-12-22T21:42:19","modified_gmt":"2020-12-22T18:12:19","slug":"eleven-weeks-with-pixel-language","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/honargardi.com\/en\/eleven-weeks-with-pixel-language\/","title":{"rendered":"Eleven Weeks With Pixel Language"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A group video art exhibition titled \u2018Glitch Art: Pixel Language,\u2019 curated by Mohammad-Ali Famori and Sadeq Majlesi, will open on December 25 at Bavan Gallery(-1) in Tehran and will continue through March 12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After holding the first group photo exhibition tour entitled \u2018Definite Moment\u2019 in 2018 in six galleries in Tehran and Isfahan, <a href=\"https:\/\/platform-101.com\/\">Platform 101<\/a>, a nonprofit and independent art institution, prepared a plan to hold a glitch video art exhibition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking about the exhibition, Famori said that technological errors that are the product of defects in digital devices give us incomplete images. These incomplete and intertwined lines of video and audio make up the glitch art pixel and digital motifs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the process of creating glitch work, on the one hand, the artist relies on the digital broadcaster as a medium, and on the other hand, there is artist, and the third side addresses the interpretation of the digital art by the audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Glitch is a genre in visual art that has the potential to become a tangible language for all human beings to reach a single concept of digital art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In art, glitch is a discourse that confirms movement from the whole to the part and consequently from the part to the whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this exhibition, 27 glitch artists create works to identify the value and identity of pixels, so that they can force the pixel language in our minds to reread.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the 11-week exhibition, every Friday, the artworks of two artists will be exhibited for seven days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Works by Abarca, Arash Masoum, Arezou Ramezani, Behrouz Farahani, Diyu Fang, Elnaz Mohammadi, Erfan Ashourian, Francesco Corvi, Franco Palioff, Golnaz Behrouznia, Hossein Pouresmeil, Mohammad-Ali Famori, Nazila Karimi, Neda Dastafkan, Nikzad Arabshahi, Nima Mansoury, Parisa Pakzamir, Parnian Donyari, Reza Famori, Razieh Kooshki, Sabato Vissconti, Sadeq Majlesipour, Shalala Salamzadeh, Sina Kiadaliri, Shahab Shahali, Suture, and Vahid Qaderi will be displayed in the exhibition.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A group video art exhibition titled \u2018Glitch Art: Pixel Language,\u2019 curated by Mohammad-Ali Famori and Sadeq Majlesi, will open on December 25 at Bavan Gallery(-1) in Tehran and will continue through March 12.
