Exclusive Interview with Mojdeh Atrak in Paris: An Inner Journey through “Be, and it is” On June 14, 2025, Honargardi sat down for an exclusive interview with renowned Iranian artist Mojdeh Atrak at Keshavarzian Gallery in Paris. The interview, produced and conducted by Kasra Aliha with Behnood Masoumi as director of photography, offers an intimate and in-depth look into Atrak’s latest collection, “Be, and it is | Kun Fayakun.”

Rooted in images that surfaced during psychoanalytic sessions, Atrak’s new body of work interweaves mythology, personal symbols, and historic visual references. Through the printmaking process, she has given form to inner visions that, though personal, invite broad interpretation.

She explains, “The phrase Kun Fayakun came to me in a session—both terrifying and liberating. It reflected the risk of revealing those inner images, but also the divine or creative will to bring them into being.”

Born in Isfahan and based in Tehran, Atrak began her professional art career in 2013. Her multidisciplinary works—ranging from paintings and sculpture to video and performance—navigate themes of loss, resilience, mental health, and the subconscious.

Honargardi expresses special gratitude to Ms. Tanaz Keshavarzian for making this conversation possible. This exclusive interview is available only through Honargardi.
