Abdolaziz Farmanfarmaian is one of the founders of the modern engineering system in Iran, a professor at Tehran University and a contemporary Iranian architect.   Biography: •    Abdolaziz Farmanfarmaian born in 1299 in Tehran. Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Paris (Bozar). Founder of the first “Consulting Engineers” office on a national and international scale in 1333. •    Short-term teaching at Tehran University Faculty of Fine Arts in the 1930s. •    Designing and implementing many famous and lasting buildings of contemporary architecture alone or with the cooperation of architects and other Iranian and foreign architectural offices. •    One of the main bridges of communication between Iranian and foreign architects. Urban development in Karaj, Kerman, Isfahan and Tehran. Preparation of a master plan map of the city of Tehran with the cooperation of the American “Victor Gruen” with a view to providing a development system of new elements in accordance with the Iranian culture, solving the existing problems with a forecast of 5 million people.   He died on June 21, 2013 in his property in Spain at the age of 93. No works of his have been recorded outside of Iran during his 35 years of presence outside of Iran.
