Mohammad Hossein Emad
Mohammad Hossein Emad, born in Arak city, on 5 Shahrivar 1336, is a contemporary Iranian sculptor. He held his first solo exhibition in Tehran’s Efarand Gallery in 1372, and after that he continued to hold solo and group exhibitions in Iran, France, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and India. Mohammad Hossein Emad was selected as a sculptor in the fourth biennial of Iran’s contemporary sculpture (2004) and won the statue of the fourth biennial of Iran’s contemporary sculpture. In 2006, Emad also received the diploma of honor of the 5th biennial contemporary sculpture of Iran. Mohammad Hossein Emad is a member of the Sculptors Association of Iran.
In 2008, the gallery published a book titled “Mohammed Hossein Emad’s Sculptures” with notes by Mehdi Hosseini, Behnam Kamrani and Helia Darabi criticizing the works of Mohammad Hossein Emad.
